CyberGrid is excited to participate in EM-Power Europe, part of The smarter E Europe 2025 event at Messe München from May 7–9, 2025. This year, The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest alliance of exhibitions for the energy industry, focuses on “Accelerating Integrated Energy Solutions,” a crucial step towards creating a future-oriented, sustainable energy world. The event will highlight renewable energies, decentralization, digitalization, and cross-industry solutions that bring together electricity, heat, and transport sectors for a 24/7 energy supply.
Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe
Alongside the EM-Power Europe, The Smarter E Europe hosts other three exhibitions covering a wide range of topics:
- Intersolar Europe – the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry;
- ees Europe – Europe’s largest exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems;
- Power2Drive Europe – the international exhibition for charging infrastructure and e-mobility.
These exhibitions, together with EM-Power Europe, create a powerful platform for showcasing solutions that accelerate the transition to a sustainable, integrated, and flexible energy world.
EM-Power Europe 2025
EM-Power Europe, under the motto “Empowering Grids and Prosumers,” is the international exhibition dedicated to energy management and integrated energy solutions. This exhibition serves as a crucial platform for grid operators, utility companies, municipal utilities, project developers, installers, energy consultants, managers, and service providers. The focus will be on modernizing and digitalizing power grids to transform them into flexible smart grids. Key topics include the integration of prosumers, e-mobility, and power-to-heat concepts to create a comprehensive renewable energy ecosystem.
The event is not just an exhibition but also an opportunity to engage in discussions at the EM-Power Europe Conference, where international experts will explore the future of energy systems. Topics include the integration of decentralized renewable energy, grid management, digitalization, and the key role of end users in energy flexibility. CyberGrid looks forward to these discussions and the chance to share insights into how demand-side flexibility can play a pivotal role in the smart integration of renewable energy systems.
At the Smarter E forum on the 7th of May Alexander Kofink, CEO of CyberGrid, will deliver a finalist presentation entitled “Cutting‑edge Hybrid Energy Storage System. Sector Coupling with Balancing Services”, where he will showcase CyberGrid’s innovative integration of battery and thermal storage to balance volatile renewable generation and secure grid stability. Furthermore, Alexander Kofink will detail operating strategies for frequency‑control reserve, energy‑trading and self‑supply, present an analysis of regulatory and legal impacts on annual revenues, and outline next‑generation battery health evaluation and performance‑monitoring methods .
In addition, during the SmartEN brunch session on the 8th of May, Alexander Kofink will present “Market Based Balancing of Demand Side Flexibility”, focusing on the CyberGrid’s one‑stop‑shop approach for hybrid BESS projects, combining investment‑marketing simulations with real‑world use cases. Key topics include park‑control and multi‑marketing optimizations that maximize intraday arbitrage revenues, coupling/decoupling strategies to shield core processes from market swings, and a comprehensive cost‑and‑revenue overview. Attendees will also explore CyberNoc’s advanced BESS management features - which enable parallel participation in FCR, aFRR, mFRR and intraday markets - including detailed state‑of‑charge management rules and simulation results for intraday trading decisions.
The award ceremony will take place just before the start of the Smarter E exhibition. CyberGrid will be exhibiting at the EM-Power Europe exhibition in the SmartEn joint booth B5.490, Hall B5.
