The World Sustainable Energy Days are taking place from the 4th until the 7th of March in Wels, Austria. As part of this whole event, we are attending the European Energy Efficiency Conference 2025 planned for the 6th and 7th of March.
Organized by OÖ Energiesparverband and Upper Austria, the event aims to address policy updates, energy efficiency finance and solutions, and empower citizens by providing the tools to overcome the key challenges that we are facing towards climate neutrality.
Aside from a sustainable energy tradeshow, there are four main conferences:
- Energy Efficiency Policy Conference: new directives, markets, building renovation, energy communities, and energy efficiency.
- Industrial Energy Transition Conference: climate neutrality, green infrastructure, hydrogen, industrial energy storage, heat pumps, case studies, and much more.
- Smart E-Mobility Conference: technology, policy and market updates, urban rural charging infrastructure, new batteries, and European vehicle innovations.
- Young Energy Efficiency Researchers Conference: including a presentation of the work of young energy researchers, and the Best Young Energy Efficiency Award.
