CyberGrid is participating in the Österreichische Fachtagung für Photovoltaik und Stromspeicherung, one of Austria's leading industry event for solar energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS), taking place on November 4-5 at the Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen in Vienna. Organized by PV Austria and the Technologieplattform Photovoltaik (TPPV), this annual conference brings together key stakeholders from the energy sector to discuss the latest innovations in photovoltaics, energy storage, and flexibility management.
The hybrid park Trumau use case will be presented during the event by Fridolin Kastner from EVN AG. The hybrid park consist on a BESS co-located with PV and wind, and it's located alongside EVN's Trumau photovoltaic palnt and the nearby Tattendorf wind farm. Market participation is possible thanks to CyberGrid's flexibility management platform, CyberNoc, which is utilized to optimize and monetize the flexibility of the energy assets on the balancing and wholesale energy markets. This hybrid system owned by EVN Naturkraft is designed to deliver clean energy services, supplying green electricity to approximately 13,000 households.

Spotlight on flexibility marketing and grid services
As a pioneer in flexibility aggregation and virtual power plant (VPP) solutions, CyberGrid will showcase how PV and BESS can be monetized across multiple electricity markets. Our solutions enable:
- Optimized energy trading through real-time flexibility forecasting and price signals
- Participation in ancillary services such as FCR, aFRR, mFRR as well as short-term markets like day-ahead and intraday.
- Revenue stacking across markets
With Austria's ambitious climate goals and increasing PV installations, the need for intelligent energy management and flexible grid solutions is more urgent than ever. The conference provides a platform for:
- Knowledge exchange between researches, utilities, and technology providers.
- Networking opportunities with industry leaders and innovators.
- Insights into regulatory developments, including the upcoming Elektrizitätswirtschaftsgesetz (EIWG).
