Bringing together utilities, technology providers, system operators and policymakers, Enlit Europe 2026 focuses on integration, resilience and competitiveness.
Connect with our experts to discuss your next flexibility project!
From distributed assets to coordinated flexibility
As renewable generation expands, the ability to coordinate generation, storage and consumption becomes increasingly important. Utilities and aggregators must translate diverse technical capabilities into reliable market participation while respecting asset limitations and grid connection constraints.
CyberNoc state-of-the-art software solution provides the infrastructure to connect, monitor, control and optimize distributed energy resources. It supports the coordinated operation of battery energy storage systems, renewable generation and flexible loads, enabling utilities, energy suppliers and aggregators to develop their own flexibility portfolios. Integration with existing forecasting, trading and energy management systems allows organizations to build on their established operational infrastructure.
For asset owners and industrial customers in Austria and Germany, our team will also discuss flexibility trading services and opportunities to participate in balancing and wholesale electricity markets. These discussions will address how technical flexibility can be translated into additional revenue opportunities through coordinated asset operation and market access.
Sebastian Alexander Steinlechner, Battery Expert at CyberGrid, will present “Sector-coupling hybrid storage system Theiss” on 10 November 2026, from 13:40 to 14:00, at the Generation Innovation Hub in Hall A, as part of the Hybrid Plant Innovation session.
Visit EVN Naturkraft’s hybrid energy park in Trumau
On 9 November, ahead of the exhibition, CyberGrid and EVN will offer an on-site visit to the Trumau hybrid energy park. The visit will provide a practical perspective on the interaction between renewable generation, battery storage and digital optimization.
The integrated Trumau–Tattendorf system combines a 10 MW photovoltaic installation, a 16 MW wind farm and a 3.4 MW / 6.8 MWh battery energy storage system. CyberNoc coordinates these resources, linking physical operation with market opportunities and helping make more effective use of the available grid infrastructure.
Featured in Enlit on the Road, the project illustrates why battery value depends on more than storage capacity alone. Coordinating state of charge, renewable generation, market commitments and connection limits is essential to operating a hybrid site as an integrated system. The visit is scheduled for 15:00–16:30 on 9 November, with shuttle pickup at VIECON at 14:00 and departure from Trumau at 16:30.
