CyberGrid, an EVN owned company, is an Austrian cleantech-pioneer for the management of demand response, renewable and battery storage flexibility. Our award-winning software solution has been supporting a transition to carbon-free energy system in Europe since the year 2010.
CyberGrid develops cloud-based Flexibility Management Platforms (Virtual Power Plant) for Demand Response, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and for Renewable Energy Resources. Our platform combines automation technology with communication protocols, and intelligent trading algorithms. It connects and aggregates energy management systems and/or individual flexibility assets to different energy suppliers, aggregators and power markets. With CyberGrid, energy providers are enabled to manage and control the flexibility of any desired number of assets like distributed generation, loads and batteries.

We are currently looking for energetic people who would like to join us to design technological processes in support of #cleanenergy, either out of Vienna, or out of Graz.
We need your energy to:
o Lead and administer SaaS and FaaS projects within the settings of the domestic and European power industries.
o Manage projects and provide technical support until the project goes live.
o Communicate customer requirements to the CyberGrid Software Development Team.
o Audit, implement and commission customer’s flexibility sites.
o Manage installation of communication hardware to connect new energy assets to the virtual power plant
o Planning and development of test environments
o Develop solution approaches, guidelines and documentation.
o Conduct training sessions for customers.
o Manage the project’s resources, timeline, and budget.
o Initiate ideas towards the further development of innovative CyberGrid software solutions.
o Report the project’s financial state to the Controlling team.
You bring the following qualifications:
o Degree (Polytechnical College, University of Applied Science or Technical University) in IT, Computer Sciences, Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Information Systems, or similar. Knowledge and practical experience in the energy markets.
o Practical experience of automation of industrial assets like turbines, wind parks and PVs is of advantage.
o Experience with Agile Software Development, SCRUM, and Jira can be helpful.
o Customer-centric mindset.
o Project management skills.
o Initiative and well organized.
o Good language skills in German and English; Knowledge of any other language is helpful.
o Very good communication skills in the international business context.
o Expertise in MS Office 365.
o Capability of working in a diverse and multinational team.
o Willingness to travel.

In line with market conditions, we offer a minimum annual salary of 49.000 Euro gross. Possible raise depends on your qualification and experience.
